NI + AI™

Natural Intelligence first. Artificial Intelligence second.

I’m a scholar-practitioner with a PhD in Instructional Design and more than 30 years in information technology, including 23 years developing application systems at Columbia University. I currently teach as a K-12 substitute teacher through ESS and am seeking a part-time role in classroom instruction, curriculum, or educational technology.

As founder of Doctor Vermeille Global EdTech & Research LLC, I design multilingual AI-literacy and digital-literacy programs — in English, French, and Haitian Creole — that work in high-tech, low-tech, and no-tech settings.

Born in L’Acul, Léogâne, Haiti, I bring the lived experience of the Haitian diaspora and the Global South to multilingual programs that put learners first.
